CESBA In-Service for New Adult and Con Ed Administrators 2017

This is a two-day professional learning opportunity for principals, vice-principals and superintendents etc. new to adult and continuing education in Ontario (i.e. three years or less in their current position).

October 4 from 10:45 am to 5 pm (lunch included)
October 5 from 8:45 am to 1:30 pm (breakfast and lunch included).

The Ministry of Education is providing funding to cover the cost of travel and meals at ministry rates for up to 2 participants per board. Participants will be given expense claim forms to complete at the inservice.

As a new administrator, you are also invited to sign up to be matched with an experienced principal who can serve as a mentor. If you sign up, you will have the opportunity to be hosted by your mentor for a site visit at their school. As well you will be expected to attend four Principal Connect webinars on key topics.. Note: The Principal Connect webinars are open to administrators across the province, not solely the mentors and mentees so it is not necessary to sign up as a mentee to benefit from these.

If your school board office is more than 100 km away, the cost of accommodation on October 3rd and 4th is covered. If your school board office is less than 100 km away, only accommodation on October 4th is covered.

The CESBA Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held from 9 - 10:30 am at the same location just prior to the InService on October 4th. Participants are invited to attend the AGM as well. Registration and Details can be found on our website.
